We’ve seen our share of Samsung Galaxy Note 3
concepts, but one more can never be bad, right? This is where our
source, “gpat” comes in, sending us his vision of the next Galaxy Note.
We’re dealing with a pretty wide device, as shown in the picture below
and the form factor looks a bit like a fatter Note of the first
generation.
Inside this concept there’s a Samsung Exynos 8 core big.LITTLE processor, 4 GB of RAM and at the back we’ve got a 12 megapixel camera. Upfront there’s a 6 inch OMEGA AMOLED screen and also inside there’s a 5000 mAh battery, that should give you at least as much time of use as the Note II did. The cool thing is that the Galaxy Note 3 can split the image into 4 3″ 540p windows for multitasking. The platform of choice here is Samsung’s own twist on Android called “Android+”, so a bit more customization than TouchWiz.
The Holo UI is kept, the updates are promised to be more often (fingers crossed) and this new OS is optimized for multitasking and seamlessly integrated with Google services. For those who don’t know Samsung is expected to unveil the big.LITTLE processor next year, an 8 core ARM CPU, with one half being a quad core 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex A15 and the other being a quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex A7. The former is used for the main tasks and the latter for the quieter moments. What do you think of this device/CPU?
