Nokia Windows 8 Tablet Design by Ashraf Amer Features a 12 Inch Screen (Video)
Recent speculations have insisted on a 12 inch iPad and a 12 or 13 inch Samsung tablet, so why not have Nokia make a slate with the same diagonal? Ashraf Amer imagined such a Nokia tablet, one that sports a 12.4 inch OLED flexible display.
The device has a super slim shell that measures just 0.3 cm in thickness and inside we find 6 GB of RAM, 500 GB of storage, while at the back things get really out of hand. This Nokia tablet concept has an 82 megapixel Pureview camera with dual LED flash and at the front there’s a 20 megapixel Pureview camera with mono LED flash.
The device also adopts NFC and comes in a variety of colors. The format is your typical rectangle and other than that I have no idea what hardware is inside. I’m guessing it’s either a future 8 core Bay Trail CPU or something like that or maybe some futuristic Snapdragon. For those wondering the device was created in 3D Max 2014 and rendered in Mental Ray, as he says himself in the video description below.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Renders Feature a Flex Version and a Normal One
The folks of simonlyradar.nl have created a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 render, the one shown below, in two versions. One is the regular solid smartphone of 2014 and the other is a “flex” version of the flagship.
They have based their concepts on recent leaks that have trickled on the web regarding the Galaxy S5. Over the past days we’ve seen potential benchmarks of the phone showing a 2K screen and talks about a possible 5.2 inch diagonal. The creator of the render above claims that the Galaxy S4 successor will have a 5 inch Super AMOLED display in the regular version and a 5.2 incher in the flex one.
Inside the smartphone there will be a 2.7 GHz quad core processor, probably a Snapdragon 800 or Snapdragon 805. There will also be 3.5 GB of RAM, support for a 2K resolution and a 16 megapixel OIS camera at the back with 4K video recording. The handset can do Full HD slow motion recording at 160 FPS, by the way. This Samsung Galaxy S5 concept packs a 3500 mAh battery (3300 mAh in the flex model), USB 3.0 connectivity, a front 2.5 MP camera and it runs Android 4.4 KitKat with a brand new TouchWiz.
The big innovation here is the slim aluminum body of the phone and the totally edge free screen.
