SINOPSIS :
Di film Death Note 2 langsung melanjutkan di mana Death Note pertama
berakhir. Bagi mereka yang belum pernah menonton film pertamanya film
ini
mengisahkan tentang seorang dewa kematian (shinigami) yang membuang buku
kematiannya di dunia manusia. Buku ini adalah sebuah buku sakral karena
nama siapapun yang ditulis di dalam buku tersebut akan tewas.
Mengerikan? Yang lebih mengerikan adalah ketika buku itu dipegang oleh
seorang jenius bernama Yagami Raito (Light). Light yang adalah anak
seorang inspektur polisi memutuskan untuk membersihkan dunia dari
kriminal. Caranya sederhana. Ia membunuh kriminal-kriminal yang ada di
dunia, satu
demi satu. Kematian misterius dari para kriminal ini membuat banyak
kriminal gentar. Dunia pun menjadi terpecah. Satu mendukung aksi dari
Light, sementara yang lain menentang aksi Light. Akhirnya, hal ini
menjadi sebuah fenomena dunia. Pembunuh misterius ini
dinamakan oleh publik sebagai Kira (alias Killer dalam lafal Jepang).
Pihak kepolisian tidak bisa tinggal diam dengan aksi Kira yang mereka
anggap brutal ini. Mereka pun menggalang satu kesatuan khusus di bawah
seorang detektif
jenius yang bernama L. Detektif jenius bernama L ini tidak ada di bawah
kesatuan polisi manapun dan bertekad membongkar identitas Kira yang
sebenarnya.

SINOPSIS :
Cerita film ini berawal ketika Light Yagami menemukan sebuah buku yang
ternyata milik Shinigami (Dewa Kematian) bernama Ryuk (Ryuku). Di dalam
Death Note milik Ryuk, terdapat cara menggunakan Death Note yang
ditulis olehnya sendiri. Death Note ini kemudian digunakan untuk
mewujudkan idealismenya yaitu
untuk menciptakan dunia baru yang bersih dari kejahatan, dengan dirinya
sebagai Dewa. Kemudian Death Note ini dia gunakan untuk membunuh para
kriminal. Mendapatkan data para kriminal dari televisi maupun mencuri
data
kepolisian pusat (ayahnya, Shoichiro Yagami adalah seorang polisi).
Ternyata tindakannya ini mengundang berbagai reaksi, baik dari
masyarakat, para petinggi Jepang, bahkan dari para petinggi
internasional. Kebanyakan masyarakat setuju dengan tindakan pembersihan
dunia itu,
namun para petinggi tidak menyetujuinya karena tindakan tersebut
bertentangan dengan Hak Asasi Manusia. Tidak hanya itu hambatan yang
ditemui Raito (yang dijuluki KIRA, sebutan
untuk Killer dalam dialek Jepang) untuk mewujudkan dunia yang bersih,
dia juga harus berhadapan dengan L yang selanjutnya dikenal dengan nama
Ryuzaki.

SINOPSIS :
Selama otopsi John Kramer, koroner menemukan sebuah kaset di dalam perut
Detektif Hoffman. Sementara itu, polisi menemukan Detektif
Kerry mati dan Komandan SWAT Rigg benar-benar trauma dengan mayat yang
disiksa. Kerry terobsesi untuk menyelamatkan Detektif Eric Matthews
yang telah hilang selama enam bulan, namun Hoffman memintanya mengambil
liburan dan meninggalkan kasus.

WPhone Concept by Retovona is a Beautiful Windows Phone 8 Design
Designer Retovona came up with a very interesting Windows Phone 8
concept called WPhone. We’re dealing with a beautiful handset here, that
seems to have an edge to edge screen and a pretty thick metallic body.
It separates the screen panel and the lower side of the facade, where
the Windows Phone buttons are.
At the back we’ve got a big speaker and the device is shown in both
white and black. The upper half of the WPhone is a bit iPhone-like and I
very much like the discrete notification LED from the right side. Also,
the camera mechanism looks elegant and it’s integrated in a very subtle
way. WPhone has at the lower side a micro SIM holder and micro USB
connector, also used to charge the battery. They’re covered with a
special lid, while up at the top we find a big loudspeaker and a
Power/Lock key.
There’s also a camera key on the side and I like how the Windows Phone Metro UI fits to the big edge to edge screen. If you allow me to speculate, this would make a very good Surface Phone, with a dual core or maybe quad core Snadpragon S4 CPU, a 4.5 inch display with a 1280 x 768 pixel resolution, 32 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera. Would this make a good Windows Phone flagship for you? In the end I’d like to say that Retovona said on the site where he/she promotes the work he/she does that this may be a last concept. Please encourage the designer, so we may see more work from him/her in the future!

Sony C650X Odin Appears Again, This Time in a Render
Jsus sent us another email, so after showing us the Sony C650X Odin phone in a hands
on picture, he now reveals what seems to be a render of the device. He
dubs it a Sony Xperia 2013 smartphone and leaves it that way… As usual,
we can’t tell if he’s showing us the real deal or merely a render he
created.
Sony Xperia Odin was already leaked in a bunch of benchmarks, that
confirm it has a big 5 inch display with 1080p resolution, Android Jelly
Bean and the famous quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor on board,
with 2 GB of RAM. Sony has no quad core phone right now in its
portofolio, so Odin kind of makes sense. Also, the choice of Qualcomm
quad core CPU makes sense, since it’s the most popular option right now.
In the end the rumors about the Sony Xperia Nexus could also be true,
but not this year, since Google already unveiled its Nexuses.
As far as the Sony C650X Odin design goes, we’re dealing with a phone that uses no front buttons, so it probably has virtual ones and also a very thin bezel next to the display, probably an edge to edge screen here. This design sort of reminds me of the Nokia N9 combined with Xperia Arc and Xperia S a bit. I also expect at least a 12 megapixel camera at the back, if not a 16 megapixel Exmor R sensor…
