Google X Phone Concept Design by Jason Chen
Lately it’s been all Samsung and Nokia as far as phone designs and renders are concerned, so the addition of a fresh Google X Phone
pleases us. Created by Jason Chen in Cinema 4D, the smartphone below is
made by Motorola, as speculated and it resembles the iPhone a tad.
When I say that it resembles the iPhone I’m talking about the lower side, with the microUSB port and speakers. The back of the Google X Phone includes the rumored Motorola logo, that’s said to also be used as a touch area/button. We’ve got a 13 megapixel camera included here, that somehow integrates Pureview technology, although Nokia would never agree to that. One can dream, right?
The handset probably runs Android 4.3 or Android 5.0 and it measures just 7.2 mm in thickness. Its screen is a 4.7 inch Full HD one and this is a 16:9 affair. I would be surprised if there was a Snapdragon 800 CPU inside, plus 2 GB of RAM. Fancy? I like the back of this Google X Phone render more than anything.
[Thanks Jason Chen]

Samsung Galaxy S5 is Waterproof, Wide and Packs 4 GB of RAM
I have to say that the following Samsung Galaxy S5 concept is more down
to earth than one would think, especially if you’ve heard the latest
rumors floating around the web. Sent to us by 91mobiles, the design is
wider and doesn’t exaggerate with edge to edge screens.
The handset’s profile makes me think of the HTC One for some reason, while the clean back side makes me think of an Asian brand like Pantech or NEC. Anyway, know that the Samsung Galaxy S5 pictured here runs Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, relies on a 3200 mAh battery and it’s both water and dustproof. Inside it’s got a 2 GHz Octa core processor, 4 GB of RAM and upfront we find a 5.2 inch screen.
The design features a metallic body, a 16 megapixel back camera and a 5 MP front shooter, that can trigger even more gestures and control systems. One of them is the Smart Eye Tracking, that was actually expected on the Galaxy S4. Finally, the Galaxy S5 will bring up to 128 GB in storage. Fancy this model?
