HTC Legend 5 Design by Hasan Kaymak + HTC Sense 5 Lockscreen Video
Hasan Kaymak, the guy behind the HTC
Concepts community sent us his latest render, the HTC
Legend 5, accompanied by a video showing a HTC Sense 5.0 concept
lockscreen. The original HTC Legend was very loved by the public and it
had sort of a follow-up through the HTC One V if I’m not mistaking.
Now it’s time for a real worthy successor to the throne, one that adopts an elongated design, capacitive buttons and HTC Sense 5.0, that’s shown in the video below. HTC Legend 5 is a 5 inch Full HD smartphone with a S LCD 3 display and an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor at 1.9 GHz. There’s also a 4000 mAh battery on board and the device supports Beats Audio Streaming, HTC Messenger, HTC Quick Actions (you can add pictures, the music you’re listening to and places in your notes).
This HTC concept runs Android 4.2.1 with HTC Sense 5.0, that involves a very interactive lockscreen, filled with widgets and such elements. At the back there’s a 13 megapixel camera, while upfront we’ve got a 2.9 megapixel sensor with Full HD capture. The lockscreen concept is neat and clean, just like HTC Sense 5.0 is rumored to be. What do you think of this design?

Samsung N4 Concept is A Nexus Phone… Almost
Victor Monteiro recently submitted to us a new Samsung concept phone
called the Samsung N4. The idea is that this model is “half of a Nexus
phone”, according to the designer, thus explaining the “N” in its name.
The device features a quad core 1.9 GHz processor, a 48 core GPU and
promises “groundbreaking performance”.
Samsung N4 packs a 1080p display, with Gorilla Glass 3 technology and it also has top notch cameras, especially the front one. The cam at the back is a 13 megapixel shooter with a new sensor produced by Sony and dual LED flash, while the front camera is a 5 megapixel one capable of 1080p video recording. Other specs include a 3,320 mAh battery and up to 64 GB of internal storage, expandable to 128 GB. 2 GB of RAM are available for multitasking and there’s also an “almost stock” version of Jelly Bean included, installed out of the box.
Almost stock means it comes with Samsung improvements, like Smart Stay, Pop Up Play and Multi Window. The body of this Samsung Nexus concept combines polycarbonate and brushed aluminum. Victor Monteiro claims that if you like the render, he’ll do more of this device. So, do you? The form factor is original, I have to say.

Nokia Lumia X, a Quad Core 5 Inch Phablet with Wacom Stylus, Windows Phone 9
Straight from designer Gpat comes the Nokia Lumia X concept, a 5 inch
phablet that has been rumored recently, under the name
Juggernaut/Semaphore. This device looks pretty hot and it’s rare that we
get to see a device with very slim upper and lower bezel.
Nokia Lumia X features a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and at the back it keeps the classic Lumia design, but it hosts a 12 megapixel Pureview camera this time. Upfront it has a 2 megapixel front camera and also at the front there’s a 5 inch 1080p AMOLED Full RGB ClearBlack screen. The screen has a bezel-free frame and this device is capable of 4G LTE connectivity and it packs a 3000 mAh battery with wireless recharging supported.
Nokia Lumia X interacts with a Wacom digitizer stylus and is supposed to run Windows Phone 9. This makes this the first Windows Phone 9 concept we’ve seen ever and I can’t find much differences from WP8. There’s even a price listed here and frankly $299 is unrealistic for a contract free Nokia phablet, but one can dream, right?
