iPhone 6 Render is Minimalistic and Soulless Like iOS 7
The Techno Toast imagined an iPhone 6 concept that truly fits iOS 7. As you know, the latest iOS is basically an Andy Warhol nigthmare mixed with raw minimalism. So, why not have a phone that fits this approach?
The iPhone 6 render you see here also has some specs associated, including a 4.8 inch rounded Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and a quad core Apple A8 CPU clocked at 1.9 GHz. There’s also a glass front and back on this model, a microSD card slot (big LOL) and anodized aluminum sides.
Inside we find 3 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 3000 mAh battery, 128 GB of storage and at the back rests a 12 megapixel camera. This feels like a ghost of an iPhone, if you ask me and it’s very, very minimalistic. Do you like that or do you want more… styling?

The Hook Bracelet Phone Concept Runs Windows Phone in a New Format
Windows Phone is the kind of OS that pretty much explains the hardware platform it’s on: handsets. It can however pop up on the occasional bracelet or watch concept, like the one shown here. Created by Mindaugas (Gus) Petrikas, The Hook is a bracelet phone with Windows Phone 8 on board.
This is basically a smartphone that can twist and bend around your wrist and be worn that way. It has a curved shaped and it kind of reminds me of the Microsoft arc mouse. The screen seems pretty crisp and it has a very small bezel. The belt bundled with the phone is pretty fashionable and sturdy and I totally dig that cool Home button.
The device comes in a few colors and it’s incredibly thin, for a unit that should house a CPU, storage, RAM and possibly a camera. Would you see this device on your hand? As Windows Phone evolves, it’s expected to branch out, with formats like these included.

Icon One Smartphone Concept is Metallic, Edge to Edge, Revolutionary
There hasn’t been a company yet to pioneer a REAL edge to edge display on smartphones, although Motorola has tried that with a few of its models. Now LG Optimus G2 is said to go that way, but till then designer Jsus sent us his latest work: the Icon One smartphone.
This design goes the edge to edge display way and also adopts a thin metallic chassis. This fancy model reminds me of those Bang & Olufsen concept handsets or maybe a fashion phone of sorts. As you can see, we’ve got upper side and lower side speakers, a front camera that’s very discretely integrated and a clear delimitation of the upper and lower edges from the rest of the handset’s body.
For some reason, the phone feels very light to me, but it may just be an impression. Since Jsus usually creates Sony concepts, I have to say I would see this as a futuristic Xperia smartphone, one packing a 5 inch 1600p display, 8 core CPU and 26 megapixel camera. Is this the future?
