Nintendo 4DS Concept May Just Save Handheld Consoles
We here at Concept Phones are big gamers and we sure love a good old
fashioned console, like the Nintendo 3DS or the PS Vita. How about the
future? While Sony and Nintendo may seem doomed because of tablets and
smartphones, concepts still show some potential.
David Quijada imagined a Nintendo 4DS concept,
that’s shown in the picture above. What we get is the usual dual display
setup, only this time with a huge widescreen display up top and a
smaller one at the bottom, flanked by controls. The device is much
longer than usual and also a bit fancier, if you ask me.
The buttons are also bigger, there’s an SD card slot on the side and possibly a HDMI port in there somewhere. The device should at least support HD resolution on the big screen and maybe QHD on the smaller one. Considering the popularity of MediaTek CPUs, I’d integrated one here, accompanied by 1.5 GB of SDRAM, 16 GB of storage, Bluetooth and WiFi. Sounds nifty, right?
