Aurora Prime Phone Concept is a Follow-up to the Samsung Galaxy Aurora
If you don’t remember the Samsung Galaxy Aurora, well it was
a concept made by Alexander Black and now the designer is back with a
follow-up. The new model is called Aurora Prime and uses all the things
that were not so good on the first device, now corrected and improved.
The pictures you’re seeing here have teaser value and the finalized
smartphone will come on March 30th. Obviously feedback is welcome at
this stage. The handset looks very much like a Galaxy S series member
would look like and it’s very, very slim, plus it seems to have a cutout
for a Home button. The Aurora Prime smartphone features an edge to edge
display, that’s about 5 inches in diagonal, if you allow me to
estimate.
No idea what the back looks like, but I’m guessing it’s black and it’s either made of plastic material or metal. I’m also guessing there’s a 13 megapixel camera on there, some powerful speakers and inside the device there’s 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and maybe an 8 core CPU. Don’t be surprised if we end up with another Galaxy S5 concept!
[Thanks Alexander Black]

Samsung Galaxy S5 Runs Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, Designed by Deepak Ahuja
Samsung Galaxy S5 is already on the table, courtesy of a few concepts
that have hit the web. The latest is created by Deepak Ahuja and runs
Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. The handset sports a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED UHD
screen and UHD stands for Ultra High Definition.
The screen supports a 1920 x 1280 pixel resolution and shows 16
million colors. A very interesting part of the specs is the 1.3 GHz deca
core Exynos 6 processor, that is basically a quad core + quad core +
dual core setup. The deca core includes a 1.5 GHz quad core processor
with ARM Cortex A15 technology, a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with ARM
Cortex A9 for the gaming area and a 1.7 GHz dual core CPU for power
saving.
Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 16 megapixel camera with LED flash, a 2.5 MP front camera with BSI and CMOS, plus 16/32/64 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM. The power source of this smartphone is a 3100 m Ah battery and the device measures 7.1 mm in thickness. Just like the rumored Galaxy Note III, this device is much longer than wider and I like the elegant look of the back.

Sony Xperia Tablet L Render Also Brings Top Notch Specs
Ben Ling imagined a brand new Xperia Tablet concept,
a device calld the Sony Xperia Tablet L, that’s pictured and specced
below. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a pretty good device, but what about
the next tablet after that? Let’s speculate a bit…
The designer proposes a 10.1 inch HD screen slate with a Super AMOLED
panel and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There’s also a 13
megapixel camera with HDR and LED flash on board, plus Exmor RS sensor
and 16x digital zoom. We’ve also got Full HD video recording and the
display upfront supports a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution.
Inside the device there’s a quad core 1.9 GHz Krait Snapdragon 600 processor and a replaceable battery. The Sony Xperia Tablet L has PlayStation certification, an Adreno 320 GPU and measures 9.5 mm in waistline. It weighs 515 grams, has 3GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity. This Xperia tablet concept runs on Android 4.2.2, has 32 GB of storage and the usual Sony technologies: Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 3, xLOUD and more. All of this is powered up by a 8000 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia ZS by Deepak Ahuja Enters Phablet Territory
If you’re not happy with the Sony Xperia Z and I know I’m not, how
about a superior version called the Xperia ZS? The device is designed by
Deepak Ahuja and it enters the phablet realm with a 5.3 inch screen,
that’s shatter proof and scratch resistant.
Also, notice that the glassy and glossy aspect of the Xperia Z is gone, being replaced by a matte case, hopefully something like the case of the BlackBerry Z10. The Sony Xperia ZS concept runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and it supports a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It relies on a quad core 1.9 GHz Krait CPU, which is a bit underwhelming for me. Maybe a Snapdragon 600 would be nice…
Other specs include a 13 megapixel camera at the back with LED flash (why not dual LED or even Xenon?), a 2.1 megapixel front camera with BSI and 16/32/64 GB of storage. There’s also 2 GB of RAM and a 2700 mAh battery. As you can see, the upgrades from the Xperia Z are not that great and only the display stands out. Fingers crossed for getting rid of the godawful TFT and replace it with either Super AMOLED or S LCD 3.
