Hasan Kaymak just sent me another one of his HTC Concepts, this time a model that sounds like a flagship. I’m talking about the HTC One Bloom handset, pictured below. This is a 4.7 inch Full HD smartphone with a very thin waistline and a thin bezel around the screen. The phone also uses 4 LED lights in the lower side for a cooler effect.
Those are usable as notification lights and a flashlight too. HTC One Bloom also features a 3 megapixel Full HD resolution front facing camera for videocalls and taking pics… of your face probably. This concept device integrates Beats Audio technology and speakers, plus it uses the new HTC Sense 4.1 interface. At the back there’s a 13.1 megapixel camera with 60 fps full HD video recording with dual LED flash. As you can see, this model uses 3 capacitive buttons at the bottom and totally strays from the current One Series design, opting for a cleaner look, less bulk and a black/white combo.
Everything is done with great finesse and the handset’s only rounded parts are the upper and lower corners. Other than that we have a perfectly rectangular handset, that I guess is somewhere around 6 or 7mm in thickness. I guess this model runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, since it is modern, but not that futuristic as to get Android 5.0. There’s something really iPhone-ish about this design, but I can’t really put my finger on it…
