Sent to us by Tomas K, this Sony Xperia Nexus phone concept may be an usual rectangle, but it’s the specs that interest us the most. This device runs Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and uses Gorilla Glass 3 technology on its screen.
It comes with a polycarbonate body, a 13 megapixel camera with optical stabilization and it packs a Full HD IPS 5 inch display. Sony Xperia Nexus, in this version measures 6.5 mm in thickness, weighs 132 grams and does Full HD 60 FPS video capture with the aid of its 13 MP camera, with autofocus and LED Flash.
Upfront we’ve got a 2.1 megapixel camera and other specs include a 64 GB internal memory, 2 GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7 GHz processor with Adreno 320 GPU. The design isn’t particularly different from everything that’s on the market right, just a rectangular slab of plastic/metal/maybe glass.

If you’ve been missing some rumors related to the LG Optimus G2, well we have some specs and a render of the device, done by Deepak Ahuja. The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and looks a lot like the leaked model from a few weeks ago, in that hands on photo.
LG Optimus G2 is supposed to be an edge to edge handset with a 5.2 inch AMOLED HD+ display, that supports an impressive 1920 x 1280 pixel resolution. Inside there’s a 1.9 GHz quad core processor and at the back we can find a 13 megapixel camera with LED flash, while upfront there’s a 2 megapixel camera with BSI.
Other specs include 16/32/64 GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and a 3100 mAh battery. I have to say that the upper and lower part of this render look pretty pixelled, so we expect a corrected version of this design. Who wants a go at the LG Optimus G2 concept?

We’ve got a fresh video and pics of a new iPhone 6 concept made by Ran Avni and Hassen Cad. this device stands out because it has a curved design, metallic case and dual 3D camera at the back. Also, notice the edge to edge display upfront.
The upper and lower side of the device make me think of the HTC One for some reason and I have to say that the edge to edge display looks really nice from the side. It’s a bit of glass that makes the iPhone 6 look high tech and a bit fragile at the same time. This iPhone render involves a 4.8 inch screen, a dual 8 megapixel camera and a chassis that’s slightly thinner in the middle section.
We’ve also got a FaceTime HD camera, a 3.2 megapixel one, but the rest of the specs remain a mystery. I guess we should get 1 or 2 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of storage, LTE, a quad core CPU made by Apple, NFC and a very good battery. How long will it be till Apple goes the edge to edge display way? Do you agree that a phone that’s thinner in the middle and larger on the upper and lower sides is more comfy to hold and use?

You may have figured out by now that Nokia tablets are popular concepts, but in real life there’s actually no proof that such a device will exist. The latest device of this kind comes from Juri Karasjov, who see the Nokia tablet as a bigger phone. The result is the Nokia Tana device, shown below:
This tablet PC packs a 14 megapixel back camera, a 3 megapixel front camera and a 7.4 inch display, supporting a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It also has an enhanced sound system, it weighs 310 grams and it measures 7 mm. The camera at the back uses Carl Zeiss technology and as you can see, with the presence of those capacitive Windows buttons at the bottom of the screen, we’re dealing with a handset format here.
It makes the tablet prone to use in portrait mode rather than landscape, which is not exactly a good idea for a slate. The Lumia styling is still slightly present here, but only discretely, since the device is less rounded now and more rectangular. Are we ready for a Nokia tablet that’s actually a bigger phone? By the way, it would be nice if the Nokia Tana would make phone calls…

The folks of mobileaks.nl have created a new flexible tablet concept with Samsung branding, basing their design on the recently leaked patent, shown at the end of the article. This patent proves that Samsung is preparing a flexible tablet with a brilliant edge to edge display.
This device supports Full HD resolution on a 10.1 inch diagonal and other specs include 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The Samsung flexible tablet relies on a 1.6 GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor, an 8 core processor that’s found on some versions of the Galaxy S4. There’s a 3 megapixel front camera here and a 8000 mAh battery inside.
When the device is in flexible mode it will provide a built in kickstand for extra balance. The horizontal part of the touch display may serve as a keyboard, turning it into sort of a laptop. Interestingly enough, Mobileaks reports that they have a tipster confirming the existence of the tablet prototype. Aside from being pretty and original, is there any REAL use for this flexible tablet?
