There was trend at some point to crazy concept phones with crazy specs, but that has dwindled down lately. Well, now it’s back again courtesy of the design below, created by TheTechnoToast. We’re dealing with a Nexus  handset made by LG yet again and packing some crazy futuristic specs.
This device runs Android 4.3 and features a 32 megapixel camera at the back, that’s able to shoot up to 4K resolution video. Inside the LG Nexus 5 there’s an 8 core processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 7000 mAh battery, that probably takes up the most room inside the phone. The battery is supposed to last an entire week on a single charge.
NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE are all included here, as well as a removable back that’s spring loaded. The idea is that if you push the back, the glass plate will spring up and you’ll access the microSD card slot, dual SIM slots and the battery. The screen upfront is a 4.8 inch display with Full HD resolution. The Nexus 5 is slimmer than the Nexus 4 and a bit heavier. Both the front and back of the smartphone are covered in Gorilla Glass 4, unbreakable glass.

Created by Deviantart user Fishbertus, this iPhone 6 concept is the same size as the iPhone 5, but this time the screen takes up the entire front of the phone. We’ve got a big display, probably around 4.5 inches or more and an Ultra HD interface.
Apps are “themed” and the handset’s UI is highly customizable. The Home button has now become a touch button and you can place the apps under the toolbar if you want, or at the top if need be. Wallpapers now get a 7+ megapixel area for animated shots and interactive wallpapers, like on Android. I guess that there may be some hardcore hardware features on this model.
Something like a 13 megapixel camera possibly made by Sony, an 8 core Apple AXX CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 32 to 128 GB of storage, LTE+ (crazy, right?) and en edge to edge display with 2K resolution. All of these specs are speculated by me, but they seem realistic for the end of 2014.

There’s a fresh fan made Windows Phone 8.1 Blue concept, that finally brings a decent notification system to Microsoft’s platform. The renders were created by Yanko Andreev for 1800PocketPC and they show a new approach to the UI and functions of WP.
Andreev added more Live Tile sizes, got rid of the margins on the left and right sides of the Start screen (totally) and also added groups for app lists. There’s also a new Device Center, listing stuff like the device’s battery life, brightness level and this one can be displayed at the top or bottom of the screen.
There’s also the option to have a list of recent notifications from apps. The designer also included cloud syncing here, with all the settings, files, preferences and browser favourites being synced between all sorts of Windows devices. Windows Phone 8.1 is also said to bring Full HD screen support and 5 inch diagonals. We also get a Files app, a file manager that looks very hot, as shown in the source link below.

Now that the Nokia Lumia 925 Catwalk is official, it’s time for the EOS phone to come. DAVDesigner from Deviantart had an idea of what the device may look like, so he imagined the Nokia Lumia 960 “Catwalk”, although that codename has already been revealed.
Anyway, this is probably the Nokia EOS phone that we’re expecting in the following weeks. The device seems to have those side identations like on the iPhone, probably for the sake of the antenna. This Nokia concept uses an aluminum body, a thin one, with dual speakers at the back. We’ve got a potent Pureview camera at the back with Carl Zeiss Tessar technology and Pureview technology.
The resolution is unknown, although something like 20 or 41 megapixels may happen. The recent rumors talk about a Xenon flash here, as well as a focus assist light and a special lid for the camera lens. The specs are supposedly similar to the Lumia 920′s including a dual core CPU and 4.5 inch 768p display. The camera will probably be the bigshot here…

Suman Chatterjee brings us a new Nokia concept phone, the Lumia 901, that reminds me of the HTC 8S, especially in the lower side. Considering the naming pattern of the device, I expect something like a lower specced Lumia 920. As you can see at the back we’ve got a Carl Zeiss lens camera, with dual LED flash and possibly an 8 MP Pureview sensor. The front part is the interesting bit, with an original upper and lower side, that may feel a bit like the HTC 8S. The lower one is pretty basic, but the upper one is more original and gives the Nokia Lumia 901 a more solid feeling.
With a facade that has bigger upper and lower edges you feel that the phone is more solid and resilient, since more glass may feel like more weakness. Hope you get what I’m trying to say here, although people considering all glass facades fashionable nowadays. The phone is totally rectangular and I can’t see any rounded areas here, so it may feel sharp in the hand, like the Xperia Z. What do you make of this Nokia render?
