Sony Xperia i1 Concept Brings us to the One Sony Honami Experience

Sony Honami is the model that’s supposed to start the One Sony trend of incorporating all cool Sony tech into a single device. Well, that means you get Bravia, Cybershot, Walkman, xLOUD, Exmor RS and all the other goodies one can imagine. And now Honami turns into the Sony Xperia i1.

Created by Ben Ling, this smartphone concept features a 5 inch Full HD Triluminous display that’s shatter proof. There’s Gorrilla Glass 3 protection aplied to it and at the back we’ve got a 20 megapixel camera with Xenon and LED flash. There’s Carl Zeiss and Cybershot technology involved in the camera area and you get HDR for both the front and back cam.
16x digital zooming is supported and we get a quad core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, BIONZ mobile technology, built in battery and Adreno 330 GPU. The case here is 7.5 mm thick and the whole device weighs 135 grams. Xperia i1 offers 3 GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC and runs on a 3000 mAh. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is the OS of choice. The back side of the device looks more like a camera, if you ask me…

Bob Freking Introduces: The New Nexus Family – Nexus 5, Nexus 11 and Nexus 8

We all missed Bob Freking’s work, so he’s back with a doozie: not one, not two, but three brand new Nexus concepts and they include tablets and smartphones. We gives us the new Nexus family, featuring the Nexus 8, Nexus 5 and Nexus 11, all pictured below.
Bob Freking Introduces: The New Nexus Family Nexus 5, Nexus 11
and Nexus 8
The Nexus 5 is once again made by LG and it features a 5 inch Full HD True IPS+ display, a 1.9 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and Adreno 330 GPU. There’s also a 2 megapixel camera on board upfront and a 13 megapixel one at the back. That one has flash and this model is expected to run the latest version of Android, probably Android 4.3. There’s also an estimated price of $299 for the 16 GB version.

Then comes the Nexus 8, made by ASUS and packed in a more compact format. The device features an 8 inch 1200 x 1920 display (IPS LCD), a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 CPU and Adreno 320 GPU. There’s also a combo of two cameras (3 MP back, 2 MP front) and the latest version of Android included. Price tag? $199 for 8 GB.

Finally, there’s the bigshot, the Samsung Nexus 11. This one uses a 11 inch 1600 x 2560 Super PLS display, a 1.8 GHz quad core Tegra 4 CPU and 72 core Nvidia GeForce GPU. The cams combo include a 5 MP back snapper and a front 2 megapixel newcomer. This model runs the latest version of Android and the 16 GB unit starts at $399. Between all of these, the Nexus 8 sounds truly good for me. What about you?

iPhone 6 Concept Created by Arthur Reis Brings Minor Improvements (Video)

It’s been too long since the last iPhone concept, but luckily we have a new one right here. It’s called the iPhone 6 and it was created by Arthur Reis. It sounds more like an iPhone 5S, if you ask me, considering the specs are basically upgrades of the iPhone 5.
iPhone 6 Concept Created by Arthur Reis Brings Minor Improvements
(Video)
The back design is totally the same as the iPhone 5′s and the front is not that different. We’ve got a new Home button on board and the option to touch anywhere at the bottom of the phone, in order to reach the homescreen. Basically it’s like a Magic Trackpad, one that was mounted on an iPhone. This pretty much cancels the use of the Home button if you ask me.
The iPhone 6 is also thinner than the iPhone 6, by 20%, making it 6.1 mm in waistline. The device is promoted as “everything proof”, as mentioned in the video below. It probably means it’s water, dust and shock resistant an another feature worth mentioning is the 12 megapixel camera at the back with F/1.8 aperture and iSight Pro sensor. Overall the design is not tha different, so these minimal changes make me think of the iPhone 5S…

Micromax Canvas M1 is a High End Smartphone, Only 6 Mm Thin

I bet you missed a Micromax concept phone, so that’s why we give you Suman Chatterjee’s latest concept, the Micromax Canvas M1. The Indian company has been performing well locally, with some very interesting models, so they may be in need of a hit, a high end phone that looks hot.
Micromax Canvas M1 is a High End Smartphone, Only 6 Mm Thin
The Micromax Canvas M1 is only 6.07 mm thick, thus taking part in the race for “the world’s thinnest phone”. There will be two versions of the phone: a 5.1 inch one and a 4.7 inch unit, both with Full HD resolution. There’s also a 1.5 GHz quad core processor inside, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera for the 5.1 incher and an 8 megapixel cam for the 4.7 incher.
Upfront we’ve got a 3.2 MP camera and 2 MP camera respectively and both versions come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the OS. The interface here is very interesting, especially that widget that reminds me of a combo between Acer’s Ring UI and Lenovo’s own square widgets. Pretty cool, right?

Nokia Lumia 999 Concept Has a Large Full HD Screen

Created by Keanu Reeves (Mooz Deviant), the Nokia Lumia 999 concept phone is a design based on the Lumia 920 and 928. However, this mockup is original and involves minor look changes, that are shown in the pictures below.
Nokia Lumia 999 Concept Has a Large Full HD Screen
We’re dealing with a totally rectangular handset, that doesn’t feel as rounded as the Lumia 920 for example. The Nokia Lumia 999 features a 5 inch Full HD display, a 13 megapixel Pureview camera at the back and 32 or 64 GB of storage. The color versions of the smartphone are very vivid and they include lime, indigo and cherry as color choices.
At the back of this Nokia Lumia concept we seem to get a Xenon flash, while the screen upfront has a pixel density of 441 ppi, the same as the Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy S4. I like the lime version a lot. What’s your favourite color version here? Also, I’m betting that there’s a quad core Snapdragon CPU inside, running Windows Phone 8.1 Blue. What do you think?
