iPhone 6 Concept Uses Transparent Display, 10 Megapixel Camera

In lack of the usual avalanche of iPhone concepts, we’re stuck with searching such devices all over the web. This is the way we’ve found the interesting design created by Eric Huismann, a German designer who imagined that the iPhone 6 will have a transparent display.
iPhone 6 Concept Uses Transparent Display, 10 Megapixel Camera
This handset is 17% thinner than the already very thin iPhone 5 and it comes with a 10 megapixel camera with Full HD video capture. Inside it we find the Apple A7 processor and the screen keeps the 4 inch diagonal, but it’s transparent this time. We’ve seen a see through iPhone before, but not in such a detailed view.
Keep in mind that the display is completely transparent, while the bottom and top areas stay opaque. iOS 7 is present on board and there’s even a promise of a November launch date from the designer. There are many advantages for a transparent iPhone, like an improved camera viewfinder, a ton of augmented reality apps and cooler effects to play within the interface. Will this device ever exist?

Windows Phone 9 Basic Ideas Concept

David Jeba sent us an email showing us a concept/vision of what Windows Phone 9 may end up looking like and some of its features. Meanwhile, this summer we should get the Windows Phone 8.1 release aka Windows Phone Blue, so we’re in for a much longer wait till WP9, probably coming in 2014.
Windows Phone 9 Basic Ideas Concept
The idea of this WP9 concept is that we get to group apps in 1 or 4 (folders?) and get an unified notification system that will launch the respective app. There’s also an individual group lockscreen and settings control, plus a partition manager for the memory. You can also configure the user profile account manager and probably add more accounts/users, like in Android 4.2.
What I want from Windows Phone 9? Well, definitely an improved notification system, tiles that are truly dynamic, not only in name, maybe a system of overlapping tiles to save room on the screen… perhaps a better camera UI, that doesn’t require so many swipes to get around. What do you want from the future OS?
[Thanks David Jeba]

Google Nexus by HTC One, New Nexus 4 Concept by Bob Freking (Video)

We like Bob Freking’s concept phones, because most times they also brings videos associated to pictures. Bob did the most interesting thing ever: instead of imagining the Nexus 5 or Nexus 6, he just rethought the Nexus 4 and gave it a HTC One treatment.
Google Nexus by HTC One, New Nexus 4 Concept by Bob Freking
(Video)
The device obviously runs stock Android, it’s supper thin, it has a 5 ultrapixel camera and it’s made by HTC. “Amazing speakers” are promised, as well as dual LED flash, so I expect the HTC One camera to be surpassed here, as well as the BoomSound speakers. The designer even mentions a price: $299, for the unlocked 32 GB version.
It seems to me that this model is slightly wider than the HTC One and its profile looks a bit different, maybe with a different integration of the metal plate and metal sides. The polycarbonate lines at the bottom and bottom are here and the camera lens seems even bigger this time. The Android buttons are virtual instead of physical and there’s 3 of them, not the two capacitive ones of the HTC One.
Is there room on the market for this Nexus 4 2?

What the Samsung Galaxy S IV Could Have Been: Here’s a New Concept!

Although the Samsung Galaxy S4 is basically here, only days away from entering stores, people are still dreaming of what could have been. Many of us have been disappointed of getting the same Galaxy S III design on the new model, that’s why they took matters into their own hands and designed a smartphone like the one below.
What the Samsung Galaxy S IV Could Have Been: Heres a New Concept!
Published on Florin Kumnova’s Behance page, this Galaxy S IV concept comes from Vizart and uses the “Samsung Style”, based on the designers’ Unik Style, as they call it. We’re dealing here with an Android 4.2 smartphone with a 5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display . The specs of the Galaxy S4 render are the same with the real model, including the 8 core Exynos Octa 5, 13 MP camera and 2 GB of RAM.
The phone is absolutely edge to edge in the display area and even the top and bottom bezel are as small as possible, even sacrificing some of the estate of the front buttons, including Home one. All of the buttons are thin, but the screen is gorgeous. The texture at the back of the handset feels like a soft touch/rubber/kevlar material, sort of a combo between HTC’s choices and Motorola’s back panels.
For some reason I like this Samsung Galaxy S4 more than the real one.

HTC Second, the Instagram Phone

Just a couple of days ago, the HTC First Facebook Phone started selling in shops and a new era of social devices started. We did have a bunch of Facebook phones previously, like the HTC Salsa or ChaCha. Well, why not start dreaming of other social handsets, like the Google+ phone or even the Instagram phone.
HTC Second, the Instagram Phone
Deviantart member raintomista imagined the HTC Second Instagram concept phone, that allows you to see a stream of photos from friends on a homescreen that will be refreshed automatically. HTC Second will always allow you to stay connected with friends, see their pics and interact with them. I guess that HTC Second could be priced even lower than the HTC First, so lower than $99.
Also, in order to run Instagram and its associated services, I guess that the specs won’t have to be too high end. Maybe a dual core Qualcomm CPU could work, or even a high power Intel processor, although I’m not sure how well it will manage battery consumption on the device. The display resolution would have to be HD, to see those Instagram-fied pics in all their splendor.
