HTC M7 2013 Flagship Gets Fresh Renders, Specs

Hasan Kaymak sent us his vision on the HTC M7, the 2013 flagship that HTC is expected to showcase at MWC 2013 or CES 2013. Hasan also created a very nice community and page called HTC Concepts, that I invite you to strongly support, since we like the idea. Back to the M7, this is what the handset could look like:
HTC M7 2013 Flagship Gets Fresh Renders, Specs
We’re dealing with a new generation HTC smartphone with a 4.7 inch display and a cool metallic design. HTC M7 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.0, it has two speakers at the lower side, possibly with new Beats Audio tech. The HTC concept seems to be very thin and elegant and it comes with a 2.1 megapixel front camera, a 4.7 inch 1080p SLCD 3 display, a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 1.7 GHz quad core processor. My money’s on a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro, maybe even a newer version with a newer GPU.
There should also be a 2300 mAh battery on board according to the designer of the HTC M7, who let us speculate on these specs. HTC One X was very loved when it first appeared and I expect a similar treatment for this new model. HTC is not doing so well right now, so they could really use hit, more than one actually. Will this model deliver?

Sony Xperia Walkman Has Midrange Specs, Great Audio Features

Designer Sanjaya Kanishka imagined a brand new Sony Walkman phone, one that adopts the Xperia branding and has some midrange features. The focus here is rather on the audio side, then on high end hardware. The phone relies on a dual core Krait processor, a Snapdragon S4 at 1 GHz, working with 1 GB of RAM.
Sony Xperia Walkman Has Midrange Specs, Great Audio Features
Sony Xperia Walkman adopts the traditional Sony design, that involves glossy plastic, plus the brand new round side buttons that we saw on the Xperia E. There are no physical or capacitive keys upfront, being replaced with virtual buttons. Also the handset’s top is sloped on the front, just like on the Xperia T and J. This device features a 3.7 inch LED backlit TFT screen with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, Sony Sensor on Lens technology and Mobile Bravia Engine 2 tech. At the back there’s a 5 megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor and LED flash.
This is an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean music phone with Sony’s TimeScape UI 2.0, 8 GB of storage and HDMI via MHL. On the audio side we’ve got a ton of goodies, like SRS dual mobile speakers, Sony xLOUD engine, 2.1 virtual surround sound, HD voice with noise cancelation and a brand new Walkman player. The back side of the Sony Xperia Walkman is impressive, since it’s coated with matte rubber plastic with very good grip. More details are available in the source link below, if you’re wondering, but overall this is a very good music phone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Design Involves 8 Core CPU, 3 GB of RAM

Erica Yusim sent us pictures of what seems to be a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 render, a pretty well thought device, that evolves from the idea of the two predecessors. First of all, it seems to have an edge to edge screen, then a more elegant Home button and then a bigger diagonal.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Design Involves 8 Core CPU, 3 GB of RAM
It also has a more squared format, leaving behind the rounded design of the Galaxy S III and Note II. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.8 inch FHD Super AMOLED screen, a bigLITTLE processor, which means we have both a 2 GHz quad core processor (Cortex A15) and a quad core Cortex A7 1.4 GHz CPU. Basically, we’re dealing with an 8 core phablet, with 3GB of RAM, 32 to 128 GB of ROM and a microSDXC storage of up to 128 GB as well.
Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is chosen here and a 4000 mAh battery powers up the device. At the back there’s a 13 megapixel camera, while upfront we use a 3 MP webcam. The whole thing measures 8.9 mm in thickness and obviously involves a brand new S Pen generation. From the comparison pics in this article, you can see that the Note 3 combines elements from the Note 1 and Note II, taking more from the first generation, if you ask me. I actually prefer a more rectangular design compared to the rounded one…

New Xperia Bravia Pictures, By Frank Tobias

The Sony Xperia Bravia had only one render till now, created by Frank Tobias and his design was a success, receiving positive votes. Now he’s back with two more pics, shown below and some details about this device. We’re dealing with the usual high end 5 inch smartphone, a format that has become very trendy for late 2012 and early 2013.
New Xperia Bravia Pictures, By Frank Tobias
The Xperia Bravia looks like a Sony flagship of 2013 and it’s supposed to have a 5 inch Reality Display, with Mobile Bravia Engine technology and a 720p resolution. At the back we’ve got a 12.1 megapixel camera with a dual LED flash and I suppose that inside we have a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro or maybe a surprise Exynos CPU. I like the sleek facade of the phone, that makes me think of an edge to edge screen. I frankly would have gone with Full HD not 720p for this screen, since that will be the new standard in 2013.
From the profile this Xperia concept reminds me of the PlayStation 3 console, in the slim version, don’t ask me why, it just does… It’s got that sleek piano black smooth gadget look, with both elegance and seriousness involved. I’d imagine myself holding such a device in the pocket. What about you?

Nokia Tablet and Phone Concept, Ayaan Series

Shaik Imaduddin had an idea to create a series called Ayaan, that involves both a Nokia concept phone and Nokia tablet. The handset runs Windows Phone 8 and the tablet is based on Windows 8, which is realistic, considering recent speculations about a Nokia slate.
Nokia Tablet and Phone Concept, Ayaan Series
Nokia Ayaan 950 is the phone, a Windows Phone 8 device pictured above, packing a 4.7 inch 720p display, a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU and 2 GB of RAM. 64 GB of storage are also here, plus a 12 megapixel PureView camera with Xenon flash. As far as the tablet goes, the Nokia Ayaan 1000 is a Windows 8 tablet with a 10.1 inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB of storage.
The tablet has an 8 megapixel PureView camera too and upfront a 5 megapixel cam as well. The special feature of this duo is that they can exchange charge between them when touched togher, so one can charge the other with energy. It’s all about wireless charging, just like those power mat accessories. Also, you should know that Ayaan means “light” and it’s a series meant to replace Lumia. Shaik Imaduddin did a fine job here and I consider the Nokia tablet render interesting, especially as far as proportions are concerned.
