iPhone 6 Design by G. Tedoradze Makes the Camera and Screen Bigger

Giorgi Tedoradze sent us an email with an iPhone 6 concept he designed, one that adopts a bigger screen and a bigger camera. The handset has a thinner body, so it probably measures around 6 mm in thickness or so.

It also comes with a larger Retina Display, possibly 4.5 or 5 inches in diagonal. Inside the device there’s the Apple A7 chip, that might as well be a quad core unit. All of the specs are speculations, of course, so take them with a grain of salt. I’ve heard rumors about the iPhone 6 packing a 12 megapixel camera, although a Sony 13 MP cam would make more sense.
The front side design of this iPhone 6 feels different compared to that we’re used to, with a rectangular shape with rounded corners. For some reason, this render feels a bit plasticky to me. How about you?

Nokia EOS Fresh Render From Yugatech and Some Details About the Camera

The Nokia EOS feels very familiar now, because it has been leaked on all major sites out there, in real life hands on pictures. Today we get a new render based on those pictures, coming straight from Yugatech and Bob Freking.

The device seems to have a big and bulky camera module, with an unknown resolution, etched on as “XX”, so it has two figures. It’s most likely the 41 megapixel sensor of the Pureview 808 model, but in a reshaped format. The handset is supposed to be able to do oversampling and loseless zoom, with 3.6x zoom on stills and 12x zoom on clips, without having to compromise on the quality.
Carl Zeiss technology and optical image stabilization are also included, as well as great low light performance. Nokia truly wants to rival the DSLR cameras with this handset, from what we understood. Nokia EOS also brings a Xenon flash, a mechanical shutter and an improved lenses system. Hopefully the price will be decent…

Nokia Lumia X Windows Phone Concept is All Gold and Beauty

Each and every creator of a Nokia Lumia concept phone tries to focus on the camera and keeping a part of the Lumia legacy. However, none of them actually tried to make an ultraslim device. Well, designer Marcellus did and what came out was the Nokia Lumia X Windows Phone concept shown below.

The designer claims that this model is kind of unrealistic, seeing how bulky Lumias are, but one can dream, right? The Nokia Lumia X handset comes with an 8 mm thick chassis and it reaches 8.7 mm in thickness with the camera bump included. It weighs 140 grams and uses 2 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of storage and a microSD card slot with support for an extra 64 GB.
The display is a 5 inch Full HD unit with PureMotion technology and Gorilla Glass 3 tech. The battery is non removable and has a capacity of 3000 mAh. There’s also Qi wireless charging and I imagine that since the battery is non removable, the microSD must be placed on the side or something. The camera of the Nokia Lumia X is a 10 megapixel Pureview unit with Carl Zeiss lens, OIS, dual LED flash and Xenon flash too, plus a 2.5 MP front shooter with Full HD video capture.

Nexus 5 Design by Derek Kopet Gets Updated

Remember the Nexus 5 design from here? Well, the designer behind it, Derek Kopet has decided to update it, considering all the comments received on this device. The handset still goes for $299 (supposed price tag) and it’s still made by LG supposedly.
Nexus 5 Design by Derek Kopet Gets Updated
This Nexus 5 concept features 4G LTE connectivity, an edge to edge 5 inch IPS HD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU. There’s also a front speaker in there and that trademark notification light at the bottom. The smartphone integrates a 13 megapixel camera, 3 GB of RAM and a 3140 mAh battery, as well.
Compared to the design from March, this Nexus 5 is a bit more elongated and seems to have a more proeminent metal edge. I guess that this model made by LG runs either Android 4.3 or Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. So, do you think this model is changed enough compared to the Nexus 4?

New Microsoft Surface Phone Runs Windows 8 Pro

Created by Tomask621, the new Microsoft Surface Phone pictured here runs Windows 8 Pro instead of Windows Phone 8. That may also explain why it’s so bulky, since its hardware is probably on par with an ultrabook, if you allow me to exaggerate a bit.
New Microsoft Surface Phone Runs Windows 8 Pro
Specs include a 5 inch 1366 x 768 pixel display, an Intel Atom dual core x86 processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 3600 mAh battery. I can’t seem to spot a Search button and Back button at the bottom, so I guess gestures will have to do, I mean the Windows 8 ones. I’m also curious if we’ve got a Desktop mode here or not, seeing how this is a phone and all.
Since this Microsoft Surface Phone is thick, the only hope of it not being too massive is having a lower weight. I aso think that the volume buttons on the right side are a bit exaggerated in size.
[Thanks Tomask621]
