Nokia Nexus G Android Phone Gets Trailer, Created by Bob Freking (Video)
We’ve seen one or two Nokia Android phones
before, but it’s on rare occasions that we get to see a Nexus Nokia
device. Here comes the Nokia Nexus G, that’s shown in the video below
and also in the pics extracted from it. These are the creations of Bob
Freking and we look forward to getting more detailed shots of the
device.
Nokia Nexus G features a 21 megapixel Pureview camera with low light photography, image oversampling, LED and Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss technology. There’s also image stabilization and lossless zoom and inside the Nokia smartphone we find a 1.7 GHz quad core CPU and 4 GB of RAM. The device is available in black white and 4 Nexus colors. Upfront we’ve got a 4.8 inch IPS LCD PureMotion HD+ screen with 1080p resolution.
This Nokia Android phone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and adopts a unibody polycarbonate casing, that’s ergonomic and very, very tough. To that we add Nokia Rich Recording and all the storage you can imagine, probably 128 GB. People can only dream of Google’s mobile OS on Nokia phones for now, but some of us, like Bob Freking are looking forward to the day when they say goodbye to Windows Phone.

Nokia Aspen Brings Back the Symmetry that Was Lacking from the Lumia 920
We’ve just received via email a fresh Nokia render of a device called
Aspen, that’s supposed to follow the design of the Lumia lineup, but
also bring in an extra bit of symmetry. The designer of the device
claims that Nokia have hit the jackpot with the N9, Lumia 800, 900 and
920 design, with all the simplicity, but the symmetric position of the
display hasn’t been taken care of on the Nokia Lumia 920.
The idea is to have a symmetrical convex profile of the body, corners and finishing, plus matte colors rather than glossy. That’s how the Nokia Aspen was born, a pretty thin device, with the lines of the previous Lumias, the same back design, but differently arranged front elements. There’s a slightly arched lower and upper side of the display, trying to keep the screen at the exact center of the facade.
The Nokia Aspen concept feels solid and looks like a mature Windows Phone 8 device, maybe one that will run the future WP 8 release and maybe the first quad core Nokia model. No idea what camera is incorporated at the back, but I guess a 12 megapixel Pureview sensor wouldn’t hurt. So, what do you think about the whole idea of symmetry?

Sony Xperia Odin Designed by Ben Ling; 2013 Flagship?
Ben Ling imagined the way the Sony 2013 flagship concept will look like
and created the Sony Xperia Odin render. As expected, this is a Full HD 5
inch smartphone, one with a quad core CPU and an all black chassis.
It’s got a piano black finish, rectangular shape, capacitive buttons and
a 13 megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom.
Sony Xperia Odin features a 5 inch Full HD TFT shatter proof and scratch resistant screen, a quad core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU and a replaceable battery. Xperia Odin features an Exmor RS sensor, Sony White Magic technology and a front 1.9 megapixel camera. The CPU is of the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro kind and involves an Adreno 320 GPU as well. It’s strange to see that on the specs list the buttons are mentioned as on screen ones, although the picture seems to show capacitive buttons. Of course, I may be wrong…
The Sony Odin measures 9.2 mm in thickness, weighs 115 grams, has NFC, 2 GB of RAM and 4G LTE. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is the OS of choice and we also have 32 GB of storage, Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 3 technology and xLOUD. Under the hood we’ve got a 2500 mAh battery and the device supports multitouch for up to 10 fingers. I can’t say I’m impressed very much by the design, that’s pretty much the same as the other ones that Sony applied recently… Are you?

Nokia Android Jelly Bean Phone Has 2 GB of RAM and 13 MP camera
Created by Sunkotora from Deviantart, this Nokia concept with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
is the wet dream of all people who don’t like Nokia’s involvement with
Microsoft. Symbian is dead, MeeGo too, Sailfish OS is a bit too green to
be viable, so Android sounds mint for a high end Nokia… like the Nokia
One Way render below.
We’re dealing with a beautiful phone with a tough back design, a glossy all glass facade with a rounded design and some very discretely integrated capacitive keys. This Nokia Android phone has a 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ screen with 332 ppi pixel density, a Snapdragon S4 CPU, hopefully the quad core kind, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There’s a 13 megapixel camera with Xenon flash at the back and maybe some PureView technology and Carl Zeiss in the mix.
The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the only thing I don’t like here is the top part of the device. It looks like a powerful and elegant machine, one that justifies a high cost… Are we ready for such things or will be left forever in a world where Nokia means… coloured tiles?!

New Windows Phone 8 Concept: Steaur 1, 2 and 3, by Michaël Retovona
Michaël Retovona is a designer you’ve seen on our website before and now
he’s back with a trilogy of concepts called the Steaur. The Steaur 1, 2
and 3 are all Windows Phone 8 models, each with an unique design. We
being with Steaur 1, pictured below and looking pretty hot.
This model somehow reminds me of the iPhone, but also a bit of the Nokia N9. I like its profile and edges of the screen, with a nice elegant touch to them, thanks to that special glossiness. The camera is integrated at the back in a very simplistic way. If I’m getting this right, the handset has a big speaker at the top and another big one at the bottom. Steaur 2 is inspired by the Zune HD and it’s my favourite of them all, I have to say.
This Windows Phone 8 model adopts the color lineup of the Nokia Lumias, but frankly it looks better than the models we’re seeing today. That white stripe is also a nice touch and the inclusion of a dual LED flash is welcome. The design is sporty and youthful and making the phone thin would make it kill the Lumias. Steaur 3 is the mature model, the finished one, the one that would make a kickass Surface Phone by Microsoft. It has a bit of visual identity from ASUS and HTC and it seems to incorporate Beats Audio tech, if I understood the symbol correctly. So, which of these models do you like the most?
