It seems that CPU’s are becoming smaller and smaller. With the recent arrival of micro-PC’s like the FXI Cotton Candy, it will only be a matter of time before they become an even more common device. But at this very early stage, there have already been some other entries in the micro-PC category found online. One of them is the MK802 Android 4.0 Micro PC from China.
You can now look up to the Chinese to try to get into everything nowadays. Their latest foray may be entering into a micro-PC market with the MK802 Android 4.0 Micro PC. It boasts of an Allwinner A10 1.5GHz ARM processor with a Mali 400 GPU. It also comes with a 512MB RAM and a 4GB Flash storage with the option of adding in up to 32GB on its microSD slot. It runs on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with a micro-USB and a USB port along with an HDMI port for video output in 1080p HD. And just like FXI Cotton Candy and also the recently released Raspberry Pi micro-PC, the MK802 Micro PC is quite small, with the size similar to that of a portable flash drive. The MK802 Android 4.0 Micro PC has been seen being sold in Chinese e-commerce sites like Aliexpress. Indicated prices show it to costs around US$74, quite a good deal to have a micro CPU.
